Plague II Dandy Hat
The Plague II Dandy Hat leans entirely towards a dark and conceptual look, with no bright colors, no loud graphics, just texture and metal doing the work. Small metal spikes are embedded directly into the crown, catching the light differently depending on the angle, and the whole piece reads more like a piece of hardware than a typical cap.
On the sides, chenille patches add a raised, towel-like texture that breaks up the flat black surfaces with something you really want to touch. Up front, “DANDY” is embroidered tone-on-tone, black thread on a black base, so it’s only clearly visible when the light hits it right, making people take a second look rather than noticing it immediately. The visor has some metal plate accents along the distressed edge, and at the back, a small metal “dh” emblem sits above the snapback closure.
It’s a lot of detail in a single piece, but nothing feels random. Every choice of material—the spikes, the chenille, the tonal embroidery—points toward the same dark, textured concept rather than competing with each other.
